Trenton Police ID Victim Of Fatal Stabbing In Abandoned Apartment

Authorities have identified the Trenton man stabbed to death in an abandoned apartment.

Donnell Jenkins, 52, was killed in the Tuesday, March 19 attack, according to the Mercer County Prosecuror's Office.

At approximately 2:40 a.m., Trenton police responded to a call at the Kingsbury Square low-rise apartments, the prosecutor said. An adult male was found in an abandoned apartment with multiple stab wounds, the prosecutor said. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later. 

A suspect was detained at the scene, according to the prosecutor's office, but no charges had been filed as of Thursday, March 21.
